The Monmouth County Division on Aging, Disabilities and Veterans’ Affairs hosted the 2011 Monmouth County Senior Citizen Art Contest and Exhibition at the Monmouth County Library in Manalapan, on Tuesday July 19, 2011. Neptune’s 9th Annual Touch a Truck Fun for All If you were anywhere near Heck Avenue and Neptune Boulevard on Wednesday evening, you couldn’t help but stop by to check out all the commotion! There was a front end loader, a police car, ambulances, fire trucks, a gator, emergency vehicles, pumper trucks, a street sweeper, rescue trucks, a recycling truck, and a school bus. Sounds like an interesting traffic jam; only this packed parking lot was planned!
Neptune Township was the recipient of not one, but three Achievement in Planning Awards bestowed by the NJ Planning Officials. The NJPO provides education, support and information to over 9.000 members. This was their 13th Annual Awards Banquet. SCHOOLHOUSE SQUARE is a $16million urban development offering high quality affordable housing in Neptune. MIDTOWN COMMONS, a 51,999 square foot commercial building houses the Family Health Center of Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
