Neptune Police Department Re-Accreditation Assessment Notice

 

The Neptune Township Police Department is scheduled for an on‐site assessment as 

part of its program to be re‐accredited by verifying its continued adherence to recognized 

professional best practices.  

 

Administered by the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police, the accreditation 

program requires agencies to comply with best practice standards in five basic areas: the 

administrative function, the personnel function, the operations function, the investigative 

function, and the arrestee/detainee function.  

 

Agency employees and the public are invited to offer comments by calling (732) 988‐

5200 ext. 463 on Monday, February 24th, 2025, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

Comments will be taken by the Assessment Team. Email comments can be sent to the police 

department at kodonnell@neptunepolice.org.  

 

Telephone comments are limited to five (5) minutes and must address the agency’s ability to 

comply with the NJSACOP standards. Please contact Captain Kevin O’Donnell at (732) 9888000

ext. 414 for more information.  

 

Anyone wishing to submit written comments about the Neptune Township Police

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Township of Neptune is accepting proposals for the provision of the following professional services to the Township of Neptune during the year 2025:

The Township and other Township Boards identified above seek to appoint qualified individuals to the referenced positions through a fair and open process for the year 2025.

All proposals shall be submitted to Dainene Roberts, Deputy Clerk, 25 Neptune Blvd. Neptune, NJ 07753, no later than March 5, 2025, by 10:00AM. Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq and N.J.S.A 40A:11-4.3,4.4& 4.5.

Public Hearing Announcement
Neptune Township
Acquisition Application

Shark River Hills - Land Acquisition
Neptune Township is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program to acquire properties between Beverly Way and Highland Avenue in Neptune, New Jersey to support the future development of a nature walk (see Tax Map here).  The Public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on Monday January 27, 2025, at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the Neptune Municipal Building, 25 Neptune Blvd. Neptune, NJ 07753 as part of the regularly scheduled Township Committee Meeting. REVISED 2025 TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE MEETING SCHEDULE

          NOTICE is hereby given that the location of the following meetings of the Township Committee of the Township of Neptune has been changed. The below listed meetings shall be held at the Senior Center, 1607 Corlies Avenue, Neptune NJ 07753.

The workshop portion of the meeting will begin at 6:00PM and the regular portion of the meeting will immediately follow the conclusion of the workshop meeting but start no earlier than 7:00PM.

NEPTUNE TOWNSHIP

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NEW JERSEY

 

The Township of Neptune hereby requests sealed proposals for the lease of one billboard, with a licensed/deed restricted interest by the Township of Neptune (“Subject Site”) for a period of ten (10) years, for the purpose of operating, servicing and maintaining one (1) outdoor static advertising sign, including supporting structures, illumination facilities and connections, back-up panels, service ladders and other appurtenances and ancillary equipment (the “Sign Structure”).

 

Bid proposals will be received by the Township of Neptune, 25 Neptune Blvd., Neptune Township, New Jersey  07753 on or before April 11, 2024 at 10:00AM prevailing time, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.  No proposals will be accepted after said hour.  The Lease will allow for the operating, servicing and maintaining of the Sign Structure as detailed in the Specifications and Lease Documents.  Copies of the Specification and Lease Documents may be obtained between the hours of 8:00 and 4 pm daily, except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays at the office of the Township of Neptune, Township Clerk, 25 Neptune Blvd., Neptune Township, New Jerey   07753 or by e-mail request at clerk@neptunetownship.org.

 

Proposals shall be made on the forms provided and made a part of the Lease Documents.

 

Proposals must be placed in a sealed envelope and be mailed or delivered to the Township Clerk of the Township of Neptune, 25 Neptune Blvd., Neptune Township New Jersey  07753, with the Proposal description and the name and address of the Bidder marked clearly on the  outside of the envelope.

 

The Township of Neptune reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the proposal received and to accept the proposal which is the best interest of the township of Neptune.
