The Township of Neptune will be beginning the Atkins Avenue Pedestrian Improvements Project on or about Tuesday, May 26th, weather permitting.
Work will take place along Atkins Avenue between 7th Avenue and 10th Avenue and will include curb, sidewalk, and drainage improvements intended to enhance pedestrian safety and roadway infrastructure.
Residents should expect periodic traffic and parking impacts during construction hours. Access to homes and driveways will be maintained as much as possible throughout the project. Additional project information and scheduling details will be provided directly to residents by the contractor prior to construction activities in their area.
Construction activities are expected to continue in phases over the course of approximately 4-5 weeks. The Township appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation during the improvements.
