Neptune Recreation Holiday Events & Cheer
Neptune families joined us for fun with Santa at Summerfield Elementary School on Dec 7. There were plenty of sweet treats for attendees in addition to a DJ, arts & crafts, and musical games, a video game trailer with classic arcade games, and a giant inflatable snow globe while waiting for Santa to arrive! Thanks to sponsor Imperial Healthcare for sponsoring the event with an ice cream truck! A huge thank you to all of our volunteers from Neptune High School, St. Rose High School, Neptune Girl Scout Troop 1674, and the Neptune Recreation Committee!
Cards for the Holiday Season
Thank you to all who helped us bring a little holiday cheer to residents of local nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This was a great arts and craft project for local youth! We received over 100 homemade cards from multiple groups and individuals. A big thank you to local Girl Scout Troops 316 and 1674, an art class from Cedar Drive Middle School, St. Rose High School, and Hamilton United Methodist Sunday School youth.
