NOTICE

NOTICE is hereby given that the position of Fire Subcode Official is immediately available in the Neptune Township Department of Construction.

Under the direction of the Construction Official, the Fire Subcode Official is responsible for administering all duties prescribed by the Uniform Construction Code (UCC), N.J.A.C. 5:23. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, supervising fire inspectors, performing plan reviews, and carrying out all other duties prescribed by the UCC.

The successful candidate must possess an exceptional ability to multitask and work cooperatively and professionally with the public, vendors, and Township personnel. Possession of multiple UCC licenses is preferred but not required.

CERTIFICATION: Applicants must possess a valid license as a Fire Protection Subcode Official/Fire Inspector issued by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. Candidates must also possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license.

WAGE: The hourly rate for this position is $55.00 per hour.

NOTICE is hereby given that there is an opening for part time Recycling Yard Attendant in the Neptune Township Department of Public Works. The hourly rate for this position is $19.25, approximately 1 to 3 days per week and weekends are required. There are no vacation, personal, or retirement benefits for this position.

Notice is hereby given that there are openings for full time permanent Drivers in the Neptune Township Public Works Department at a yearly salary starting at $45,000.00 with a Class A CDL or $38,000.00 with a Class B CDL.

The daily work schedule for employees in the Public Works Department is Monday – Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Neptune Township DPW looking for Experienced Snowplow Drivers

Neptune Township is looking for snowplow drivers preferably with a CDL License and Snowplowing Experience, at a rate of $35.00 per hour.
