Its baseball time, so “batter up” with us this month and spend
a wonderful afternoon enjoying the historical story of the 1947
baseball season and the birth of the career of Jackie Robinson.
Brooklyn Dodgers General Manager, Branch Rickey, played by Harrison
Ford, decides to sign Robinson as the first black Major
League player.
Chadwick Boseman plays Jackie Robinson who, despite
facing ugly and vicious racism, went on to allow his remarkable
amazing athletic talent to speak for itself. Wonderful
stars and a great story line, make this a must-see movie for
October.
Transportation arrangements must be made by 11:30am on
Tuesday, October 15. No exceptions will be made.
