On Sunday, May 3, 2015, the launch ramp at the Shark River Municipal Marina will be closed from 8:00am - 12:00pm due to the closure of South Riverside Drive.

Exciting News from the Harbor Master!

We are pleased to announce the contract for the new Marina building has been awarded to Santorini Construction.  As such, the lot where the old building was (Melrose and Hillcrest Avenues) is now off limits to all vehicles, vessels and trailers as it is now an active construction site.

Paint the Town Pink Business Kits are now available for pick up at Neptune Town Hall - 25 Neptune Boulevard.  If you have yet to register your business, please see the link below to sign up!  The deadline for Neptune businesses to register is April 22nd. 


The Monmouth County Engineering Department held a pre-construction meeting April 1, 2015, for the various streets they will be paving throughout the County.  Below is the anticipated schedule for the work along the two (2) streets in Neptune:

Bangs Avenue (from Neptune Boulevard to Ridge Avenue):

Striping - April 17, 2015

Asbury Avenue (from State Route 35 to Ridge Avenue):


Morristown, N.J. – Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) has completed upgrades on eight major circuits serving nearly 15,000 customers in Monmouth County. The upgrades are part of nearly $6 million in enhancements planned for more than 90 circuits across JCP&L’s 13-county service area this year.

Litigation involving the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) following Hurricane Sandy presented allegations of fraudulent and questionable engineering activity, as well as possible underpayment of claims. 

We are:

·         Assisting policyholders to reach settlement and resolution of flood claims currently in litigation.


FEMA’s top priority is to support disaster survivors and help communities recover from the devastating effects of disasters. Therefore, FEMA began undertaking sweeping reforms to the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). Litigation between policyholders and their NFIP insurers (“Write Your Own” [WYO] or FEMA) presented the court and NFIP with allegations of potential fraudulent and questionable engineering practices.
FEMA is assisting policyholders to reach settlement and resolution of flood claims currently in litigation.
