Olympic Star and Neptune resident, Ajee’ Wilson, joined others on Saturday, September 17th to celebrate Neptune.
Ajee’ was presented the key to the city and proclamations from the Mayor and Township Committee and the 11th District Assembly, Joann Downey and Eric Houghtaling

“Volunteers - Giving Time and Touching Hearts” was the theme on Friday, August 26, 2016.
Once again, National Night Out in Neptune was a huge success! Hundreds of attendees, 22 bicycles given away and a great night of food and fun for the whole family.
The Neptune Environmental/ Shade Tree Commission would like to thank all the volunteers who came out to support our Arbor Day Planting at Gables Park on Route 33, we could not have made this happen without you!
We also want to thank the Committee, Township employees and Public Works and for their continued support in our planting projects throughout the Township.

Neptune Township’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt Winners
Three softball fields, hundreds of children, 5,000 colored eggs, and lots of prizes—all the makings of a successful Easter Egg Hunt. Neptune Recreation’s Easter Egg Hunt went off on Saturday morning, March 19, with cool but dry weather. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Cottontail were also on hand to share in the fun!!
Children’s Librarian, Cheryl Otten, counted over 100 participants at the Neptune Public Library on Wednesday afternoon, March 2nd. Library Director, John Bonney, and his staff were happy with the turnout.
Eric Houghtaling, 11th District Assemblyman, and Neptune Township Committee members, Randy Bishop, Carol Rizzo and Nicholas Williams joined in the fun. Board of Education President, Jason Jones, was on hand along with his two daughters.
Neptune Township and the Neptune Board of Education presented “Rise of the Queen” featuring an original play on Saturday, February 27, 2016.
“Sistah,Sistah, Oh My Sistah”, written and directed by Carmen Davis, was performed at Neptune High School’s Performing Arts Center.
